NOTICE:
I am going to cancel practice tonight due to the cold/wet weather. The weather causes a couple of problems with the Spook-Out Tournament this weekend. Here is what we are faced with this week:

• Thursday, October 25th, Practice at 6:00 pm at the practice fields
• I need to get a Medical Release Form completed and returned by Friday's check-in time. Click Here to download the PDF file and complete the release. You DO NOT have to have the form notarized! Please print this form and bring it to practice this Thursday. Without the form the players cannot play in the tournament.
• We need to gather $5 from every player to buy drinks and snacks for after the games. Cathy Hernandez has volunteered to purchase the drinks and snacks.
• I need one parent to volunteer for the Daisies to work a 2 hour shift helping the tournament organizers. It would be nice to have a parent who did not volunteer for our recent concession stand duty. Please call me ASAP if you would like to help the Daisies satisfy our mandatory tournament volunteer duty.

• Game 2 - Saturday, October 27th, 3:00pm vs. MSA Lady Raiders
  at Eastfield College, Field #2
• Game 3 - Saturday, October 27th, 5:00pm vs. GSA Lady Aztecs
  at Eastfield College, Field #2

It's Been a Long Time
After just one week without practice or a game, I am ready to get back at it for the Spook-Out Tournament. We play 3 mini-games of 2-20 min halves. Depending on how we play, we could make it to the championship bracket on Sunday. If this happens we could play one or two games beginning at 11:45 am Sunday morning.

I am looking forward to a fun weekend of soccer. I remember when I was a youth, playing in tournaments was a highlight to the season. It was something special, especially when we traveled to out-of-town tournaments. Remember, if you can volunteer for the Daisies for a two hour shift this weekend, please call me ASAP.
