Spook-out
Tournament - October 27-29th
Important update for the tournament! We have a sponsor
for the tournament who will be donating the full registration
money for the Daisies to play. I will need to know ASAP
whether or not your daughter will play in the tournament.
If we will not have 12 players, then I will look to pick-up
any number of players so we will have a full team.
Tournament Volunteer
The Daisies will be required to furnish 1 volunteer
to work one, two hour shift.Let me know if you are interested
in volunteering. Here is exactly how the tournament
committe has positioned the team volunteers.
"All MSA teams that are accepted to the tournament are required
to provided one (1) volunteer to work for a two (2)
hour shift during the tournament. These volunteers will
be selling t-shirts and soccer balls, working as field
marshals, team check in and various other important
areas of the tournament. The volunteer will not work
during their child's game. An email with the volunteers
name and contact information for your team must be emailed
to the tournament director by Friday, October 6, 2006.
Failure to provide a volunteer name will result in your
team will not accepted to the tournament. Failure to
fulfill your volunteer shift, will result in forfeit
of a tournament game. The Spook-out Tournament Committee
is very excited about all the volunteers we will have
for the tournament this year."
Team Organization for Tournament
I would like for the parents to plan and organize some
type of gathering location for the team to relax around
between games at Eastfield. It would be nice to arrange
a tent (or tents) and chairs for the girls to sit under between
games, and also plan some type of meal (sandwiches,
hot dogs, hamburgers, etc) so we all don't have to be
coming and going during the day. If you are interested
in planning and organizing (or assisting), please let me know.
